Finally Friday
Happy Friday everyone! I'm at work - have a pretty full day so hopefully it wil go quickly. Figure I'll get my dreaded filing out of the way first thing, then go from there.
This weekend is busy - I'm heading out to your neck of the woods in the morning, Nicole, to do some outlet shopping - I'm in desparate need of tops and shoes and I love Rockvale. Have to drop my nephew off at work by 9:00 so I'll just keep on going from there.
Tomorrow night we're meeting old neighbors for dinner - same for Sunday, but different neighbors. In between I'll be doing some cleaning, getting clothing ready to ship down to Florida for my vacation, and figuring out what I can make ahead of time for the boys to eat while I'm gone.
That's about it for me - just going to be out and about enjoying this glorious weather!!

Today is wor****il 3pm, then the weekend!!!!!!!!!!! I have to stop off and get gas, then go home and pay some bills (oh joy) then pick up the child, have a quick dinner then off to a meeting at the brownie leaders house for a meeting about the girls camporee weekend that is next weekend!! I will be CHILDLESS!! Whatever will I do??? Sleep and maybe some adult activities?? Saturday will be support group at Barix, then food shopping, depending on the weather I will take Dee to the playground so she can run around and I can get some walking done! Sunday is a pool party with Dee's brownie troop. We were there last year and it was nice...

Day 6 with the new puppy went well. We're getting into a routine. I'm taking her to the shore with me this weekend. So looking to time alone with Bill and some suntanning in our yard.

Hi everyone,
I admit I am enjoying a slower pace at work these days, especially on Friday! I am headed to the gym, then will dig into a project for the rest of the day.
Mike heads to LA tomorrow for a big trade show with their sales staff. He will come home on Tuesday, so I am on my own for the weekend. I actually enjoy the solo time, whether because of travel or time in FL. So I will be at Barix tomorrow (yay!) I don't get to come over all that often but it is always worthwhile.
No real plans for the evening, but maybe I'll see what red box has to offer.
We have a new roof going on and the noise is driving the dog crazy. She was in and out about 75 times yesterday!
Ida, if you stick with the current designer, you need to sit her down and clearly let her know a couple of things, starting with, "Lets just pretend that this is MY house and that You work for ME!"

Thanks Lynn. Gene sort of did that yesterday, but again this morning her email did not have everything he had asked for.
Your poor dog, Hider (our cat) hides under the bed all day while all the noise is going on. She did get sick when it all started, but has settled down now and seems to know when it's time to go hide. I wonder if when this is all done if she'll be unsettled not having noise again.

Good morning Nicole and all of pa! I am at school - already a crazy one- Charlie had another TIA last night. Mild again and not as bad as last time. But, he is back in the hospital. I have not heard from his wife yet this morning. Larry was at the hospital last night and said he looked really good. Also, he is in a regular room for monitoring in lieu of ICU - so I am pleased with that information.
After school I am going to go home to get the kids and head over to the hospital if he is still there - Larry thinks with the way things looked last night, he MIGHT come right back home today. So, that is up in the air. Tonight is a service at the synagogue for all the camp families in the area. We will be singing camp songs and having a service similar to what we have at camp. We all wear white at camp so that is the attire for the evening. It is pretty and I am looking forward to being with camp families. Makes the year seem like it is coming to a beautiful end....I am so in need for this year to end. For my principal to go and for me to get myself back on track. My clothes are all tight and I am so aggravated. It is like the old days where I throw things on the bed in the morning because nothing fits the way I want it too. UGH!
Anyway - at least it is comfortable in the classroom and MANY of my students will be out of the building on a trip. YAY! Grading and computer time for me! :) Laptops for them!

For a short week it took Friday forever to arrive. Yet here I am in work and going ot be a long day since I have to work this evening as well.
Last night Dennis' plans got canceled so we ended uo going out to dinner then came home watched some TV then chatted on the phone then I heard my bed call my name so I answered. Was in bed at 10 last night and asleep by 10:10.
Quiet in work today and may leave early to rest have a slight headache before I go to work this evening,
The weekend is a touch quiet but may go to Atlantic City for the afternoon tomorrow to see the Secret Service band they are playing from 2-6 at Bally's. I told my girlfriend we could be home by sundown. So that is an option. I will also attend the leaders breakfast for Barix in the morning and then come home.
Sunday I am spending with my girlfriend Sharon at the spa all day. It is my birthday present from her and we finally found a day that works for both of us. Sharon has been the most supportive friend of this journey and we have really bonded the last few years. After that I will come home to see Den then we are all (sharon and her hubby) going out to have dinner with another couple of friends I have not seen in a few years and Dennis has not met but heard about. So he will finally get to meet Freddy and Rich at dinner on Sunday.
Life is Good!

Sat I was planning on going to the car show in York with a friend & Caleb. Caleb now does not want to go and my friend has been very sick. Another friend was going to meet me there in the afternoon. So, those plans are all still up in the air. If I don't go, I will clean/organize/paint. Today is work then???
